Adrienne Corless
Adrienne began her archaeological career in NUI Galway with a degree in Archaeology and English. She subsequently worked on many archaeological excavations throughout Ireland, including Lehaunstown, Smithfield and South Great George’s St. Adrienne began work for the National Museum in 2004, researching and managing the site archives for E172 and E190 Fishamble sites to be published by the National Museum as part of the Medieval Dublin excavation series. In 2007 she began working as a project manager on the National Museums Dublin excavations.
Adrienne returned to college in 2007 to begin her PhD on the craft of woodturning in Viking times, based on the evidence uncovered by the National Museums excavations from 1962-1981. This will be published by the National Museum as part of the Medieval Dublin excavations series.
